چکیده

Abstract In this article, the central black hole (BH) mass in distant tidal disruption event (TDE) of Swift J2058.4+0516, second candidate relativistic jet birth related to a TDE, is estimated. J2058.4+0516 has quite different BH masses estimated through indirect methods literature. Therefore, it necessary and interesting determine by another independent method. Here, based on theoretical TDE model applied describe long-term time-dependent X-ray variabilities can be well determined around 1.05 − 0.29 + 0.39 × 10 5 M ⊙ , after considering suggested intrinsic beaming effects from such jets tightly TDEs. Moreover, unique object space versus energy transfer efficiencies reported candidates, providing clues detect and/or anticipate candidates TDEs that cause jets.

A Tidal Disruption Event in a Nearby Galaxy Hosting an Intermediate Mass Black Hole

We report the serendipitous discovery of a bright point source flare in the Abell cluster A1795 with archival EUVE and Chandra observations. Assuming the EUVE emission is associated with the Chandra source, the X-ray 0.5–7 keV flux declined by a factor of ∼2300 over a time span of 6 yr, following a power-law decay with index ∼2.44 ± 0.40. The Chandra data alone vary by a factor of ∼20. The spec...

Enhanced Tidal Disruption Rates from Massive Black Hole Binaries

“Hard” massive black hole (MBH) binaries embedded in steep stellar cusps can shrink via threebody slingshot interactions. We show that this process will inevitably be accompanied by a burst of stellar tidal disruptions, at a rate that can be several orders of magnitude larger than that appropriate for a single MBH. Our numerical scattering experiments reveal that: 1) a significant fraction of s...

Determining Central Black Hole Masses in Distant Active Galaxies

An empirical relationship, of particular interest for studies of high redshift active galactic nuclei (AGNs) and quasars, between the masses of their central black-holes and rest-frame ultraviolet (UV) parameters measured in single-epoch AGN spectra is presented. This relationship is calibrated to recently measured reverberation masses of low-redshift AGNs and quasars. An empirical relationship...

On the central black hole mass in Mkn 501

We analyse the apparent disagreement between the mass estimates of the central black hole(s) in Mkn 501 based on (i) the observations of the host galaxy, (ii) the high energy (HE) emission mechanism, and (iii) the modulation of the beamed radiation by a black hole (BH) binary system. While method (i) seems to imply a central mass > ∼ 5 × 10 8 M⊙, method (ii) suggests a BH mass less than ≃ 6 × 1...

The Dynamical Evolution of Black Hole-Neutron Star Binaries in General Relativity: Simulations of Tidal Disruption

We calculate the first dynamical evolutions of merging black hole-neutron star binaries that construct the combined black hole-neutron star spacetime in a general relativistic framework. We treat the metric in the conformal flatness approximation, and assume that the black hole mass is sufficiently large compared to that of the neutron star so that the black hole remains fixed in space. Using a...
